Really, I think our livestock is a little steep. Then again I do see what we purchase it for...

Hey, I do appreciate the local pet stores in general, and everybody will end up needing something "NOW" not 1 to 10 days later from time to time and they are great for that.

Also, I do give a huge round of applause to Pets Inc. for giving AAPE mambers the 10% discount for livestock, food and maybe some other things. That is a great way to support us.

So I am not trying to cut them here, but I will bitch about price, as with everything else in this country and world, it is getting way our of hand.

But this is a Tucson thread, so sorry to cut in.

For livestock and Food at least, last time I was there and got the stand for the 20 long, they gave me 10% off that too.

Yep, he's right all you have to do is mention that you are a member of AAPE and you get a 10% discount!

And Toby, I am with you there, things are getting too expensive! I fall into that trap cause I hate to wait, I am a "want to have it now" person.

Yeah, that is why I hate ordering from Big al's, 7 to 10 days, I usually go with www.thatfishplace.com
I have found that their 2 day shipping is usually cheaper then the 3 day shipping and only about $7 more then regular ground.

Did this ever go anywhere, becuase I would still like to do local Tucson gatherings peridoically. From what I can tell there are at least four of us here...redaro, wonderboy, darkfury, and myself. I mean, if we can get a few more folks these side meetings would be worthwhile...any ideas?
